We have fully ventilated the house for the last 6 hours.

We want you to know that we are trying to keep our guests safe by cleaning/disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as:

• Light switches
• Door knobs
• Hair dyers
• Remotes for air con and DVD and TV 
• Kitchen cabinet handles 
• Rubbish and recycling bins handles
• Hard backed chairs (internal)
• Hand rails (internal) 

We have not disinfected every surface as this would be impossible. 

If you feel anything requires additional disinfecting please use the cleaning materials provided.

Enhanced Cleaning Checklist at Casa Foelas 

• Ventilate all rooms before cleaning. Allow fresh air to circulate for at least 20 minutes .All windows to be left open during the entire cleaning process.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after cleaning  -use soap and water and wash hands for at least 20 seconds .Use of hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
• Wear disposable gloves while you clean .Gloves should be thrown away after each clean and hands washed immediately gloves are removed .
• Clean with disposable products, if using re-usable products machine wash at the highest temperature appropriate for the material 
• Clean first THEN disinfect .Using soap or detergent and water to remove dirt and germs. Then disinfect using chemicals such as bleach or alcohol to kill germs.
• Focus on frequently touched surfaces  – see list 
• Wash all linens – bed sheets and towels tea towels and hand towels at the highest heat setting recommended by the manufacturer. Wear gloves when handling dirty laundry. 
• Empty the vacuum cleaner after each clean and wipe over with a disinfectant wipe.
• Wipe front of dishwasher and washing machine with disinfectant wipe.
• Remember to check all expiration dates on cleaning materials and never mix household bleach with ammonia this can release toxic gases.
